In May 2011 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a B.S. in Applied Science – Environmental Science. The summer to follow I worked at El Yunque rain forest in Puerto Rico, volunteering as a research assistant in an ongoing tree census. That fall I moved to the island of Oahu in HI to work at a non-profit outdoor recreation camp. I worked at Camp Timberline until summer 2012 where I moved on to work as a counselor at Camp Taiwan; located in the northern mountains of the island country. After split time in both HI and WI, I took off for my next adventure: teaching English as a second language in Korea. After 3 years in the education field, I am now looking ahead to my next venture!
